The RTC was engaged to develop a divisional strategy and establish a robust execution framework for effective implementation.

Over an 18-month engagement, we worked closely with the executive and senior leadership team to define their strategic vision, enhance strategic thinking capabilities, and identify genuine priorities. We created a practical execution framework to translate vision into action, instill implementation discipline, support strategic agility, and promote accountability.

Through a strongly collaborative approach, we gained a comprehensive understanding of the organisation’s internal dynamics, operational challenges, and external environment. Leveraging this insight, we designed a streamlined execution process with a clear monitoring framework, predefined success measures, and regular calibration sessions to maintain momentum. By integrating technology to minimise administrative overhead and aligning the framework with the organisation’s operational cycle, we ensured seamless adoption.

Our team led the framework’s implementation and managed the process for six months before transitioning it to the operational team. This approach ensured full integration into business practices, delivering a high-quality, sustainable outcome that was key to the project’s success.

The RTC was engaged to establish a consistent project management methodology, oversee strategic portfolio delivery, and manage high-priority projects for the health service organisation.

We developed a project delivery and risk management framework, implemented strategic portfolio governance and reporting (including a digital portfolio management solution), and supported the execution of the Organisation’s 2019–2023 Strategic Plan and its 2021–2025 refresh. Additionally, we played a key role in delivering national and state-wide initiatives, including the development of a national electronic health record system and the construction of the centre of excellence for rural and remote health in regional SA.
